Oh my, Colleen. I sometimes feel we have similar outlook towards life. Especially loving life for the little offerings it gives us. Like the first rain, the smell of talcum, baby's soft hands and little feet, and things that people often fail to notice. Or they do but don't give it much importance.

I loved the fact that you have cherished our ability to enjoy life through our senses. I too think it's a marvelous gift. When I see my pets not being able to smile or feel love the way I do, I feel pity for them.
