My heart was in pain.

I went to the pharmacy store.

They said my medicine is out of stock.

Sometimes laughter scares me.

I wonder why it came to me in the first place,

and how long would it be before it flees away?

My love was always one of a kind.

But you were not the kind,

who could understand this.

I have a volcano of anger erupting within me.

It will find its way out,

when the time is right.

I have heard you think you’re smart.

And yet they say,

You lack a sense of humor.

The animals too have a stomach that growls with hunger.

But they have to wait,

wait for the human compassion to awaken.

Your thoughts have disgusted me.

Or maybe they haven’t,

A part of me always knew the real you.

I was surprised when you proposed to me.

But you knew what my answer was.

My eyes had said yes way before my words did.

Fear is not a soldier’s accessory.

They just wear patriotism up their sleeve,

for the rest of their lives.
