I have known what it feels like to use second-hand belongings of others. Whether it was clothes books, or any other stuff. My entire childhood has been borrowed.

That probably helps me understand these people more and have an strong level of empathy for them.

Even if I decide to give them anything, I make sure that it maintains their self-respect.

I feel for their living conditions and the best I can do is pray for their well-being and happiness and treat them like any other human.

That's the least anyone can do. And religion is a highly debatable topic very smartly used by the manipulative and powerful people.
