POETRY PROMPT DAY:-10
Don’t You Say ‘I Miss You’
You big fat cat-lying machine
You brought a furry friend home,
a few weeks ago.
And on a vacation to Hawaii,
there you go!They would have allowed a cat on the flight,
But I doubt you insisted with all your might.
Leaving me at the pet care center was your best bet.
You, have BTW failed my loyalty test.I saw you acting all teary-eyed,
It’s a lame way of hiding your icky-wicky side.
Don’t you dare call me and say ‘I miss you.’
I will not hesitate to call the pet police and have you sued.

Hi everyone. Thank you for reading.
The above poem is written by a cat whose new owners are going to Hawaii leaving it behind at the pet care center. Obviously, it is very upset with the owners. But you don't have to worry about it, cos its sadness will bring a cute smile to your face.
Thank you Sahil Patel for bringing these prompts to us. I do agree with Dr. Fatima Imam, that we are halfway done with these prompts and I know I am going to miss them already.
Here’s his take on the prompt above where he is seen missing his best friend.
